Chatham College School is pleased to announce that Neil Anderson has taken over the position of Head of School. Mr. Anderson has worked with Chatham College School for a number of years and has worked closely with the schools founders to develop the school’s academic component. Mr. Anderson’s multitude of skills and his passion for quality, affordable, independent education is a testament to the standard of education we are establishing at Chatham College School. Mr. Anderson brings fifteen years of varied educational experience to the position. He has taught overseas in public and private schools in Scotland, Korea, Vietnam and with the Dufferin-Peel School Board in Ontario. Mr. Anderson spent a number of years teaching and developing the elementary curriculum at the International School and as the English Language Director at Yang Jeong Independent high school in Seoul, South Korea. He was instrumental in developing and implementing English courses that met the requirements of the new National English Curriculum. He has worked with many community colleges and universities writing online courses and has worked with them to develop systems to more efficiently manage and deliver online curriculum. He has established a number of partnerships between Asian and Canadian colleges and has facilitated exchanges for teachers groups between Korea, China, Mongolia, Vietnam, Scotland and Ontario.
Mr. Anderson has a BA from Carleton University in Ottawa, a Post Graduate degree in Education from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK, and is currently pursuing his Masters in Education from the University of Maryland. He is married and the father of five girls. We are pleased that Mr. Anderson has taken on the challenge of guiding our school and we look forward to working with him.
